Hair for Hope

Hair for Hope is Children’s Cancer Foundation’s signature outreach event – the only head-shaving event in Singapore that serves to raise childhood cancer awareness and funds. Every shaven head represents an understanding by an individual of the ordeals that a child with cancer is subjected to. HfH also provides opportunity to garner support from the public in the form of monetary pledging. By volunteering to shave, the shavees become CCF’s ambassadors in spreading childhood cancer messages to their family, friends and colleagues when garnering monetary support from them.

Through the symbolic gesture of shaving bald, we aim to:

  • Create awareness for childhood cancer by raising funds and helping children and their families impacted by cancer.
  • Tell children with cancer that it is OK to be bald.
  • Show children with cancer & families that they are not alone in their fight against cancer by building a community of support for them.

You can support us and be part of Hair for Hope through the following ways:

  1. Donate to Hair for Hope
  2. Advocate for Hair for Hope by raising awareness
  3. Volunteer for Hair for Hope
  4. Organise a satellite event
