FindingDory
MovieOuting
Phillips 66 is extremely thankful for the opportunity to
bring smiles to30CCF beneficiaries and their families,
totaling 107, to attend a ‘FindingDory’movie outing on
24 June 2016.
We managed to source for a theatre big enough to
accommodate the large turn-out and am glad that
everyone was able to enjoy quality family time without
having the need to trouble themselves with logistics,
especially the caregivers! We were also surprised that
many kidsweredelighted tobeable toenjoy themovie
togetherwith their peers. To complete their experience,
eachattendeealsoenjoyedadrinkandpopcorns togo
alongwith their movie!

On 16 June 2016, the National Heritage Board (NHB)
and the National Museum of Singapore (NMS) hosted
eight children and their families fromCCF to ‘ADay at
theMuseum’ as part of the National Museum’s annual
Children’s Season exhibition, Masak Masak. This was
the first time such a visit was organised by NHB for
CCF beneficiaries.
NHB staff volunteered their time to show the visitors
around the museum and participated in some of the
activities during the visit. One of the staff volunteers
felt that “bringing the children and their families to
the museum is a wonderful idea and offers them an
opportunity for familybonding. It isalsoagoodplatform
to assist the children to assimilate back into a learning
environment.” For others, it felt simply great to be part
of a fun event where the children enjoyed themselves
with the innovative exhibits.
