VOLUNTEERENGAGEMENT
Volunteers play an integral part in helping CCF in the
delivery of programmes and services for children and
families affected by childhood cancer. On top of their
dedication and selfless contributions in time and efforts,
volunteers bring with them invaluable experience, talents
and immense passion for the cause.
To recognise the contributions of individual and
corporate volunteers, an Appreciation Night was held
on 4 December 2015 at the CCF Community Office.
Besides being treated to a night of performances byCCF
beneficiaries and staff, anaward ceremonywas alsoheld
to honour individuals who had volunteered with CCF for
the past five to ten years.

Befrienders
provide support and friendship to the children
whoare confined at home due to cancer treatment.

Tutors
provide tuition to children with cancer or their
siblings from low income families to help them keep up
with his/her school work and academic pursuits.

PALS Volunteers
organise an array of activities such
as celebratory events and workshops to engage PALS
students. They also help to supervise the children during
lunch hour at PALS and at the same time, ensure the
cleanliness of the lunch area and the sanitising of toys
after the play sessions.
