Youth Camp
was held from 26 to 28
June 2015 at the National Community
Leadership Institute (NACLI). Using black
and white film photography as the main
medium, childhood cancer survivors
experienced a Photo-Art-Therapy camp
themed ‘Developing Negatives’ which
aimed to increase self-awareness and
resilience through reflexive art processes.

helps survivors realise their
talent inperformingarts suchasmusic, dramaanddance.
It isalsoaplatform to connect the survivorsandhelp them
build their self-confidence by performing as an individual
or in a group setting. Supported by Music Solutions in
2015, CCF survivors had the opportunity to learnmusical
instrumentssuchasukuleleandkeyboard.Theywerealso
given opportunities to showcase their talents at the CCF
NewYear Celebration andCCFAppreciationNight.

ClubConnect
is a meaningful platform to promote
volunteerism among the survivors. It also provides
opportunities for them to connect and give back
to the community. The survivors were involved in
CCF events such as Tulips Heart Family Day and
Hair for Hope in 2015.

Opportunity Fund
provides opportunities for survivors to
learnanddevelopnew life skills/knowledge to realise their
full potential.
5OPPORTUNITYFUNDRECIPIENTS
End of Treatment Party
is a platform for children and
youths with cancer to commemorate the end of their
treatment with their loved ones. The programme also
aims to affirm the resilience and strengths of new cancer
survivors and their families.
