New Year Celebration
– 194 CCF beneficiaries,
siblings and parents from 55 families, together with CCF
Patron,AssociateProfessor HoPengKee aswell asCCF
staff and volunteers, ushered in a brand new year at the
annual CCF New Year Celebration held on 10 January
2015. It wasadayof funat TheLandmark@VillageHotel
Bugis as the families gathered together to celebrate the
joyous occasion.

Tulip Hearts Family Day
– CCF held its inaugural Tulips
Hearts Family Day (THFD) on 25 April 2015 at Temasek
Polytechnic. The event brought 97 CCF beneficiaries and
their families together to REJOICE in the courage and
determination of the children who have battled cancer,
REMEMBER the loved ones who live in our hearts, and
embrace RESILIENCE as we stand in solidarity against
childhood cancer.

Children’s Camp
– Themed “Treasure Seekers”, the
annual Children’s Camp was held from 4 to 6 June 2015
atArandaCountryClub, attendedby45CCFbeneficiaries
and their siblings.Activitieswerecentredon theprinciples
of Play Therapy as the creative intervention allowed
children toexpress themselves better andmake senseof
their feelings.As the children encountered and overcame
obstacles during their journey as “Treasure Seekers”,
they also discovered “treasures” within themselves
such as creative thinking, problem solving and decision
making abilities.

Annual Family Retreat
– 56 CCF beneficiaries and
their families participated in the CCF Annual Family
Retreat (AFR) from 18 to 21 December 2015 at
DaNang, Vietnam. Themed “Where theWildThingsAre”,
the participants embarked on an adventurous journey
which explored the individual identity connected to
family values. They also brought smiles to children with
cancer in Hue Central Hospital by organising a fun-filled
“WildCarnival”withgames, food, artsand craftsactivities
and a photo corner.

Annually, CCF organises a range of activities throughout the year for our beneficiaries and their families to
promote family bonding, enhance the children’s emotional and social interaction skills, and strengthen family ties as they
copewith childhood cancer.
